If I'm going 2 search 4 the sense of good life,
I desire not the ones that mislead anyone:
NOT you
NOR me.
I wish 4 the ones that last.
Well, that is me:
I don't want 2 wake up one morning
N realize that what had once given meaning 2 my life
was as dull N flat as
an opened bottle of soda.
When I was very young,
I notice that many grown-ups has asked what the good life was,
N their Qs trapped in my mind.
As I grow older,
I come accross extremely diverse asnwers.
One seems 2 think a good life would be compensated later.
There was An older Priest who said,
"The reward of a good life now is a good life in the after life";
There was One who said,"If it feels good, then it s good".
There was SOME disharmony of judgement about what the good life was N what it was good for.
Still the Q lingered;
We live. We die. What's in between?
I think the answer would come if I pay attention on the things I'd been telling myself.
Not just in formal talks,
but in those chances:
Moments on a walk,
or drivinmg in a car with a friend,
when the right words fell together
N I said something I didnt know I knew.......
Wht d'you think?
